- We recommend to bring a sweater for the highland areas, and light loose fitting shirts, pants or jeans, and shorts for the lowland areas
- For the beach areas please don't forget to bring a hat or cap, sunscreen, and sun glasses
- For the rainforest and the National Parks we recommend hiking boots, a small backpack, water bottle, pocket knife, flashlight, insect repellent, rainwear, and a pair of binoculars to observe animals.

Ride south the Panamerican Highway crossing the “hill of death”, discovering the exotic southern region of Costa Rica, Dominical beach.

Located south of Manuel Antonio this area has become in the last couple of years, a favorite stop for many tourists. In here you will find miles of unspoiled lonely beaches, beautiful bays along the coast, and the tiny village of Dominical which offers various cozy restaurants and “sodas” (local food). For surfing, fishing, and diving, you will be at the right place!

Note: Manuel Antonio National Park is closed on Mondays.

Considered to be Costa Rica’s most beautiful park, with enchanting white-sand beaches ideal for swimming, and tropical rainforest forest alive with wildlife. Watch for the monkeys and iguanas who share the park with you. Most hotels are small and intimate, set high on a hill overlooking the rain forest, endless beaches and the national park. Options abound here! Whether you are looking for a romantic honeymoon hideaway or an action-packed visit, this premier destination has the answer.

At leisure to explore this exuberant park and its beautiful beaches.

Ride north to Nosara Beach, take the Panamerican highway north and turn left to cross over the Tempisque River, continue your ride towards Samara Beach and take the detour north to Nosara.

Nosara region, which includes Playa Ostional, San Juanillo, Playa Pelada, and Playa Guiones, is one of the most pristine beach spots of Costa Rica. It is great for surfing, fishing, and other fun water activities. One of its main attractions is the Ostional National Wildlife Refuge where thousands of endangered Pacific Olive Ridley sea turtles show up every year for the “arribada” or turtle nesting.

Day 6
In the dry season take the gravel road north to reach the Tamarindo on the way you will find plenty of beautiful beaches.
Both nature and beach lovers will find plenty here to fill their days. Tamarindo is famous for its stunning beaches, its marine national park and wildlife refuge. This area encompasses beaches that attract one of the largest leatherback turtle populations in the world. Peak nesting seasons in the area are October through January.
