What to Bring
- - Riders: Bring helmet, riding gear, jacket, leather boots, and a valid motorcycle drivers license
- - Clothing: Costa Rica is a very informal and casual country. Formal attire is only used in the city of San Jose and on very special occasions (Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries)
- - We recommend to bring a sweater for the highland areas, and light loose fitting shirts, pants or jeans, and shorts for the lowland areas
- - For the beach areas please don't forget to bring a hat or cap, sunscreen, and sun glasses
- - For the rainforest and the National Parks we recommend hiking boots, a small backpack, water bottle, pocket knife, flashlight, insect repellent, rainwear, and a pair of binoculars to observe animals.

Description
Ride in you motorcycle across Costa Rica’s most wonderful country side roads, passing by volcanoes, beaches and lush mountains. You will start riding through the Braulio Carrillo National Park, the primary forest of the Central valley, enjoying the fresh air of the mountain and from there you are off to visit Arenal, home of the most famous active volcano in the country and then to Rincón de la Vieja National Park where you will experience fun full of adrenaline adventures such as canopy and the relaxing thermal pools. Continue your ride to a couple of Central Pacific beaches, Tamarindo and Dominical well known for great surfing and great sunsets and finish it all with a exciting ride to Turrialba, a charm little agricultural town that besides gorgeous surrounding scenery it offers adventure tours and a pre-columbian culture Add to all this great accommodations at each location for a total vacation in the natural Costa Rica.
Itinerary
Day 01. Meet and greet at Juan Santamaría International Airport by our representative in San José and transfer to the Hotel Britannia. Check in at Hotel Britannia.

Day 02. Transfer to our office to pick up bikes and departure via Braulio Carrillo National Park, one of the only primary rainforest of the central valley that can be cross through a nice paved road. Reach the lowlands of the Caribbean coast and have lunch beside of one of the many rivers of the area. Continue through the fruit, sugar plantations and reach the town of La Fortuna, just beside the active volcano of Arenal. Check in at Hotel Montana de Fuego (4-5 hrs riding).
Enjoy a relaxing visit to the famous Tabacón Hot Springs with a buffet style dinner included.

Day 03. Today we depart early and the ride will be riding up passing waterfalls and a cloud forest to reach and visit the Poás Volcano National Park for a first look to an active volcano, also one of the biggest craters in the world. Have lunch at the volcano and enjoy 3.5 kilometers of walking trails, Hummingbird Garden, and serpentarium, Frog Exhibit, Tica House and Trout Lake.
Then continue through the coffee fields of this highland and back to the hotel at Arenal. This riding loop will take around 6-7 hrs on paved road.

Day 04. Departure and ride around the Lake of Arenal then continue to the lowlands of Guanacaste, the cattle fields of Costa Rica to reach the Pan-American Highway and ride north to reach the capital of Liberia. Continue north to the Rincon de la Vieja National park.
Check in at Hacienda Guachipelín or Buena Vista Lodge.

Day 05. Early canopy tour, fly through the canopy of the cloud forest of this region and enjoy observing different species of birds, monkeys and insects, an amazing adventure full of adrenaline. After lunch ride back to Liberia and continue to the coast to reach the surfing town of Tamarindo (2-3 hrs). Check in at Tamarindo Diriá Resort.
Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at the beach or explore the areas and the town!

Day 06. Long day today, so early departure riding south of Tamarindo continue to Nicoya, Tempisque bridge , south to Puntarenas, Jacó and pass Manuel Antonio National Park, continue on gravel road (1 hr) to reach the surfing town of Dominical. Check in at Villas Rio Mar (7 hrs).
Note: Manuel Antonio National Park is closed on Mondays

Day 07. Early departure from the Hotel towards San Isidro del General, this day we start early because we need to cross the Hill of Death in the morning to avoid the heavy traffic and the fog of this mountain (12,000 feet) once passing this mountain we reach the old capital of Cartago and we continue to Turrialba, passing the sugar and coffee fields of the area. Check in at Guayabo Lodge.

Day 08. After breakfast departure and visit the Irazú National Park, nice ride passing of the vegetables crops of the area, beautiful views of the city and ride back to the Hotel in San Jose (3-4 hrs) Drop off bikes and farewell dinner.

Day 09. Transfer back to the Juan Santamaría International Airport for flight home.
